Last updated: 4 November 2026
This policy explains how personal data is handled when you browse our website or send us a message.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of personal data processed through this website is A + Z Rišňovský - Halász, s.r.o. You can contact us about this policy or exercise your data-protection rights using the contact form linked below.
Contact us using the contact form2. Contact messages
When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message, including any other personal information you choose to provide. We use this information to handle your enquiry and reply to you.
For enquiries about a potential contract with you, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For other enquiries, it is our legitimate interest in responding to communications and managing business relationships (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Using the form is voluntary. Its name, email and message fields are required to send a message and receive a reply. Please do not include sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
3. Website delivery and security
When your browser requests a page, image or other resource, the hosting and content-delivery services receive technical information such as your IP address, requested resource, request time and browser information. This information is used to deliver the website and support its security and reliability.
The legal basis for the processing necessary to operate and protect the website is our legitimate interest in providing a functioning, secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Language and consent settings
The page URL determines the website language. Language links open the corresponding Slovak, English or German version. The website no longer uses browser local storage to remember your language. You can remove an older i18nextLng preference by clearing the website’s stored data in your browser.
We store your Google Maps consent choice, its version and the time of your choice in this browser’s local storage with a validity of 180 days. This preference is used only to respect your choice. Both acceptance and rejection are remembered. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice applies only to the current visit.
The website itself does not include advertising or analytics tracking scripts. Google Maps is blocked until you give consent. Google may then use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy policy and your browser or account settings.
5. Services used by this website
EmailJS delivers contact-form messages to our email service. Your name, email address and message pass through these services so that we can receive and answer your enquiry.
Contentful supplies website text, product information, images and document links. Your browser connects to Contentful and its delivery infrastructure to retrieve this content.
Google Maps is an optional embedded service in the contact section. The map connects to Google only after you allow it. Google may receive your IP address and browser information and use cookies or other identifiers. The basis for enabling this optional service is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can refuse without affecting the rest of the website, and change or withdraw your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal blocks further map loading; it does not delete cookies Google has already stored, which you can manage in your browser. Google’s privacy policy explains its own processing and controls.
6. International processing
Some service providers process data outside the European Economic Area. EmailJS states that its service uses servers in the United States and describes standard contractual clauses among its safeguards for European data transfers. The providers’ privacy notices explain their processing locations and transfer arrangements. You can ask us for further information about the arrangements applicable to your data using the contact form.
Contact us using the contact form7. How long data is kept
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to answer the enquiry and deal with related follow-up. Where correspondence is needed for a contract, a legal obligation or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, the relevant obligation or claim determines the retention period.
Technical records held by service providers are subject to their service settings and retention policies. Your consent preference expires after 180 days and is replaced when you make a new choice. You can also delete it by clearing this website’s stored data in your browser.
8. Your rights
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
To make a request, use our contact form. We may need information to verify your identity before responding. You can also lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic or the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work.
This website does not use your data to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.
